Created by Austrian designer Daniela Behr exclusively for Riedel, the Lido champagne cooler looks as if it might have tumbled up from the Adriatic Sea onto its namesake Venetian beach. This 24-percent lead crystal showpiece is shaped like a magnificent seashell with thick scalloped sides gently opening to hold a favorite nose-tickler and icy bath within. Riedel's first-ever champagne cooler, Lido is a limited edition that will surely hold a special place in a wine enthusiast's collection. Not serving champagne tonight? The lovely form also makes a stunning centerpiece with fresh flowers or left unfilled to showcase the crystal's luminescent sparkle and glow. It measures 8-7/8 inches high by 12-1/2 inches wide. Hand washing is recommended.
